Membership Information

Professionally managed municipalities in southeastern Pennsylvania interested in joining the Delaware Valley Health Insurance Trust should provide underwriting information to the Trust office, which may include: copies of current invoices from medical, prescription drug and dental providers; copies of current plan designs; copies of current plan summaries; a current employee census; a three-year health, dental and pharmacy rate history.

Membership requires the adoption of an ordinance and the execution of the Trust Agreement.  A minimum two-year commitment to the program is required.  All applicants must be approved by a 2/3rds vote of the current membership.

The Trust does not pay brokerage commissions to insurance agents or brokers.

Presentations before governing boards or committees are both available to applicants upon request.

Our office strives to provide superior service to Trust members.
