This course consists of four hours in the classroom and four hours of practical driving skills.  The goal of the course is to train truck drivers in collision prevention techniques.  In teaching these techniques, the course also promotes an attitude of mutual understanding, courtesy and cooperation on the road.  Topics covered include: general backing techniques, foul weather driving, crash avoidance, parking lot driving and braking techniques.

Attendees should bring a work truck to class in order to participate in the practical evolutions. Students must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid Pennsylvania Operator's License (CDL if applicable).
