In Pennsylvania, the behavior of public employees and elected officials is governed by the Pa. Public Official and Employee Ethics Act. The law covers a variety of municipal activities and relationships. It is recommended that all public employees and officials understand their obligations under this far reaching legislation.
In order to provide another option for educating individuals to their ethical obligations, the Trust has produced a streaming video that provides an overview of the Pa. Public Official and Employee Ethics Act. The video was captured during an ethics seminar held at Whitpain Township in April 2009. The video runs 75 minutes and is broken into several files to ensure the quality of the viewing experience.
